Cornish Yarg is a semi-hard cow's milk cheese originating from Cornwall, United Kingdom. This unique cheese is wrapped in nettle leaves, providing it with an attractive appearance and distinctive flavour. Cornish Yarg is creamy and slightly crumbly, with a slightly tangy and fresh taste. The nettle leaves impart a delicate, mushroom-like flavour to the cheese, making it an exciting addition to any cheese wedding cake.

The cheese is made using traditional rennet and vegetarian rennet, with the ageing process taking around 5-6 weeks. During this time, the nettle leaves are carefully applied to the cheese, allowing the flavours to develop and creating the visually stunning rind.

Cornish Yarg pairs well with fresh fruit, crusty bread, and crackers. It also goes well with a variety of beverages, including cider, pale ale, and white wine. This cheese is perfect for adding a touch of elegance and uniqueness to your wedding cake, as well as providing a delicious taste experience for your guests.
