Admiral Collingwood is a semi-soft cheese with a distinct flavour, created in Northumberland, England. This unique cheese is washed in Newcastle Brown Ale during the maturation process, giving it a rich and tangy flavour with a smooth, creamy texture. The rind is slightly sticky and orange in colour due to the ale wash. It is made from pasteurised cow's milk and is a vegetarian-friendly cheese, as it uses a microbial rennet.

Pairing Suggestions: Admiral Collingwood pairs well with a variety of foods and drinks. For a delightful cheese board, serve alongside crusty bread, green apples, and chutney. Wine pairings include full-bodied reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon or a fruity Pinot Noir. Alternatively, enjoy this cheese with a cold glass of Newcastle Brown Ale or another dark ale to complement the flavours.
