At Cheese Wedding Cake Shop, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality cheese wedding cakes and exceptional service. However, we understand that there may be instances where customers are not completely satisfied with their purchase. In such cases, we have outlined our policy regarding returns and refunds for damaged or defective cheese wedding cakes.


Please note that due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer returns.


If you receive a damaged or defective cheese wedding cake, please follow the steps below:


1. Document the issue: Take clear photos of the damaged or defective cake, including any visible issues such as broken layers, discolouration, or mould.


2. Report the issue: Contact our Customer Support team through our support portal under the Returns and refunds > Return policy folder. Alternatively, you can email us at cakes@fdlcheeses.co.uk with the subject line 'Damaged/Defective Cake - [Your Order Number].' Include the photos and a detailed description of the issue in your message.


3. Await a response: Our Customer Support team will review your claim and respond within a reasonable timeframe. We may require additional information or documentation to process your claim.


4. Resolution process: If your claim is approved, we will work with you to find an appropriate solution, which may include a replacement, or other suitable options.


Please note that claims may be subject to certain conditions and restrictions, including but not limited to:


  • Claims must be made within a specified timeframe (typically within 24 hours of receiving the cake).
  • The cheese wedding cake must not have been consumed, damaged, or altered in any way that would make it unsuitable for resale.
  • In some cases, we may require additional information or documentation to process your claim.
