Shipping Costs and Delivery Information for Your Cheese Wedding Cake

At our cheese wedding cake shop, we understand the importance of timely and efficient delivery for your special day. To ensure your cake arrives in perfect condition and on time, we have partnered with DPD for reliable shipping services. In this article, we will explain the shipping costs and delivery process for your cheese wedding cake.

Shipping Costs

During the checkout process, you will be charged a standard delivery fee of £20 for shipping your cheese wedding cake. This fee covers delivery anywhere in the UK, except for Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands or the Channel Islands.

Delivery Process

Your order will be delivered by DPD before 12pm, 1 to 2 days prior to your special day. We recommend choosing a delivery date at least 3 working days before your event to account for any unexpected delays that our couriers may sometimes experience.

Please use the notes section at checkout to provide any extra event details that we should be aware of. You are responsible for contacting your venue or wedding coordinator/caterer to confirm that they can accept deliveries, as our couriers cannot do so.

Upon delivery, a person must be present to sign for the cake and refrigerate it immediately. Our couriers cannot provide any storage advice or leave the cake unattended unless the customer arranges it with them directly.

Delivery notifications will be sent to your email address on the same day, so please ensure your email address is correct.

Cake Packaging and Assembly

Your cheese wheel cake will be delivered in an insulated box to maintain its freshness and quality. Stacking one cheese on top of the other takes only minutes to assemble. If necessary, use dowelling and cake boards for extra support.
